What's Our Story

July 2003

Winterswarmth.com is born.  Having spent the majority of the last twenty-five years in the ski business I decided it was time for me to realize a dream and start my own ski related business. 

I got my start in the ski biz working for my local ski shop in the Mad River Valley in Vermont.  I spent ten years learning all aspects of the retail side of things, from ringing up the sales to selling hard and soft goods to rentals and repairs.  This experience enabled me to work for a number of ski manufacturing companies.  Including, Elan, Geze, Dolomite, Look, Look Snowboards, Donnay Tennis and for the last thirteen years, Hotronic USA, Inc.

I have established numerous friendships with retailers and customers throughout the ski industry and am looking forward to making some more.
