OUR SHIPPING POLICIES

Shipping Your Order

Depending on where you live, it may take from one to seven business days for your order to reach you once it has left our warehouse. Business days are Monday – Friday, excluding major holidays.

All orders are shipped from our Massachusetts facility.

Although not guaranteed, orders being shipped to New England addresses are generally an overnight delivery, two days at the very most. However, orders to the west coast may take up to a week.

Shipping Method

We have teamed up with UPS and USPS to offer you the most dependable and cost efficient shipping service going. All orders are shipped via UPS and/or USPS; whichever is the least expensive, unless otherwise specified. You will have the opportunity to decide which method is right for you at the time of check out.

All orders shipped  UPS will require a physical address. No PO Boxes can be shipped to when using  UPS.

Depending on how fast you need your order, we can also ship using one of the following methods

*Shipping costs quoted in the shopping cart software are for destinations to the Continental USA only.  Shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii and international destinations are substanially higher. 

** Free shipping is available to the Continental USA only.

UPS Next Day Air (Red Label)
Guaranteed delivery by 10:30 am the next business day, by 5:00 pm in some rural areas.
Business days are Monday through Friday

UPS 2nd Day Air ( BLue Label)
Delivery to most areas by 5:00 pm on the second business day. Residences may be later.
Business days are Monday – Friday

UPS 3-Day Select
Delivery to most areas by 5:00 pm on the third business day. Residences may be later.
Business days are Monday – Friday

UPS Ground
Delivery to most areas in the 48 contiguous states in 1 – 6 business days.
Business days are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

UPS Rates

Rates for all air services, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select are calculated using realtime rates from UPS.  Actual cost to ship your order is ouor actual cost from UPS.  Free shipping does not apply to air shipments and is charged regardless if your order is over $75 or not.

USPS

We also offer the option to ship to your postal address. This method tends to be on the least expensive but is not nearly as dependable or able to be tracked as the other methods of shipping. Any order being shipped via the USPS must go First Class or Priority Express. Insurance is suggested as well as the additional tracking service offered by the USPS.

Other Options

Saturday Delivery may be available. UPS offer Saturday delivery to most major cities and some more rural addresses. Email WintersWarmth.com to check for availability to your address. An additional $12.50 will be added to the shipping cost for each package shipped with Saturday delivery. Saturday delivery is not available on orders that have earned free shipping unless paid for by you.

International

We offer shipments to Canada and other international destinations. As we will be dealing with International Custom issues, special arrangements will need to be made regarding documentation and necessary duties depending on your countries policies.

Any duties or other fee’s generated by Winterswarmth shipping to an international address are the sole responsibility of the recipient and not WintersWarmth.com.

Please Note:
Due to limitations of the shopping cart software we are not able to list a cost for shipping Internationally. Generally, shipping to a destination outside of the United States can cost up to twice as much or even higher than it costs to ship domestically.  We will gladly get quotes from all of our shipping companies to find the most cost effective route.  An e-mail will be sent to you so you can determine how you would like to proceed.  It will be left up to you to continue with the order or to cancel it.

Free Shipping

Just place an order for $75 or more and we’ll pick up the shipping. Any order $75 or more earns FREE UPS Ground or USPS Parcel Post Ground shipping. Any order with free ground shipping must be shipped to an address in the 48 contiguous states. Packages will be shipped by the most cost effective method. The offer for free shipping applies only to ground service and does not apply to any air or expedited service that we offer.

Orders Less Than $75

We make it simple. One flat rate for any package shipped via UPS or USPS. For each order under $75, shipping cost will be calculated based onyour zipcode and how you would like your order shipped.  Our software used livedata retreived from UPS and USPS.

Handling Charge

Credit Cards Accepted

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. WintersWarmth.com reserves the right to cancel any order that does not meet this criteria or otherwise seems fraudulent.

C.O.D is available on any orders shipped using any UPS service. UPS charges an additional $12.00 per package for this service.

We cannot accept personal checks (unless certified). We do however accept cash, money orders and business checks.

Sales Tax

As of October 1st, 2003, we must collect 5% sales tax for all orders shipped within Massachusetts.

Tax-free to any other state

After We Ship

You will receive an email thanking you for your order and to confirm that your order has been received. Keep this email for your records.

You may receive an additional email stating that an item or items that you ordered is not in stock. We try our best to always have all the items we offer in sufficient quantities but sometimes the unexpected can happen. If an item is back ordered, your credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped. WintersWarmth.com will pay all ground shipping costs on all back orders.

You will receive an email stating that your order has been shipped. This email will include the tracking number of your FedEx shipment. Also keep this email and track your shipment using this number by visiting www.ups.com.

You may receive an email if for whatever reason we have trouble processing your credit card or even an incomplete address. We feel that this is the quickest method to resolve such issues.

OUR RETURN POLICIES

Changing Your Order or Your Mind

We know that sometimes you can change your mind, that’s why we give you up to 30 days to decide if you want a particular item that you may have ordered. If for some reason you are not satisfied with an item, we give you the opportunity to return it. There are however some important criteria for returning an item or order.

• All returned items must be NEW and UNUSED condition
• In its original packaging
• Your original receipt
• Within 30 days of the sale date

Upon receipt of your return, we will gladly exchange, refund or credit you for the cost of an item or order. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless it is a mistake on our part

Exchanging an Item

The quickest way to exchange an item is to simply make a new order. By placing a new order, we will be able to ship the necessary item out to you quickly and you won't have to wait for us to receive the item you wish to exchange and then wait for the correct item to be shipped.

Upon receipt of the item being returned, we will issue credit for that particular item.

Damaged Product

If the product you receive is damaged in any way, please contact us immediately at (802) 879-7493 or by email at service@winterswarmth.com. Please have your order number and the item number of the damaged item handy and we will do our best to expedite a replacement order for the damaged item.

WintersWarmth.com will issue a call tag for the damaged item to be picked up so you don’t have to incur any shipping charges.

If the outside shipping carton is damaged extensively, please refuse the package and notify us immediately so we can issue a claim with FedEx and ship you a replacement order.

Credit

Credit will be issued the same day we receive your returned item or order. Credit will only be issued in the original form in which the payment was made.

Shipping charges will not be refunded unless it is a shipping error on our part

Warranties vs. Guarantees

There is a difference between a warranty and a guarantee. Although many people think they are the same thing.

Most companies offer a Limited Warranty on all products that they manufacture. This Limited Warranty usually covers defects in materials and workmanship for a certain period of time. In most cases this is one year from the date of purchase, however some companies may be different.

A guarantee is a promise that you are satisfied with the service and products that you receive from a particular company. In this case WintersWarmth.com. We try to offer the best products available, products that are thoroughly tested and have a proven track record.

Our guarantee to you is that we will do what we can to make sure that you the customer are satisfied with the service and products that you receive from WintersWarmth.com. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service or products that you have purchased from us, send us an email and we will try to make any wrong situation right.

That’s our guarantee.

Repair or Replace

In the event that you find that you need to have an item repaired, simply contact the manufacturer and ship the product directly back to them. WintersWarmth.com will provide you with the address and phone number, if needed. By doing so, the repair or replacement of an item will be processed and returned to you in a shorter period of time.

If you would like WintersWarmth.com to contact the manufacturer for you, we can do that as well. Just drop us an email with your request and we’ll get things going.

Important things to remember

Most manufacturers offer a “Limited Warranty”. This is usually one year from the date of purchase. Some warranties are only valid for 90 days so it’s important to check the warranty period on your product. Most warranties are printed on the enclosed instructions. If for some reason you did not receive or have lost a particular warranty statement, email us and we will forward a copy on to you.

Most manufacturers have a warranty period. This period is a set length of time that they feel is sufficient to determine if a product they produced is going to fail due to the quality of materials or the workmanship used in making their product. If a product doesn’t fail within that period of time, chances are it won’t fail at all. Again, all companies are different so some may be a bit more flexible that others. Regardless, be honest and up front with them and chances are they will accommodate your needs.

It is up to manufacturer whether a product is replaced or repaired. Most manufactures will repair or replace any product that falls in the warranty period and has failed under normal circumstances. That is, if you back over your goggles and try to have them replaced under warranty, chances are they will recognize the damage as being done by a vehicle and simply return the product to you, un-repaired or un-replaced. Believe me, warranty departments have heard all the stories so if you’re going to make one up make it a good one.
